Payment, Custom Orders and Delivery

This page contains all the details you’ll need to know about payment methods, custom orders, gift(s), delivery charges and our return policy. Read it and if you have any more questions, contact me with the details provided at the end.

Payment

I accept PayPal and debit or credit card payments. 

To buy the handmade doll you like, please follow these instructions: 

  1. Add to cart 
  2. Click ‘Check out with PayPal’
  3. Choose ‘Pay with debit or credit card’ or login to your PayPal account

Morine’s Shop will never receive your credit card information. Read more on this in our Privacy Policy.

If you would prefer to pay through other means such as Mpesa, please get in touch with me via WhatsApp.

Delivery fees

Morine’s Shop is located in Nairobi, Kenya. Standard delivery fee is ksh. 300 for all estates within Nairobi County.

Delivery fee to other counties will depend on the courier service you would like to use. In case you do not have one in mind, I will help you find a suitable service.

Ready to ship items will process in 1-3 days after the purchase. Custom orders will take longer.

We deliver every Saturday. However, if you would like you item delivered during the week, an additional fee of ksh.100 is charged. That means that the total delivery will come to ksh. 400

PLEASE NOTE DELIVERY CAN TAKE LONGER OVER THE HOLIDAY PERIODS!

Returns, Cancellations and Exchanges

​I gladly accept returns and cancellations.

Our refund and returns policy lasts 3 days. If 3 days have passed since your purchase and/or delivery, we can’t offer you a full refund or exchange.

  • Just contact me within 2 days of delivery.
  • Deliver the item(s) back to me within 5 days of delivery.
  • Request a cancellation within 24 hours of purchase.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

We only replace or exchange items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at [email protected] for further details.

​Buyers are responsible for return shipping costs. If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value.

Once your return is received and inspected, we will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed and applied within a certain amount of days.

= Gifts

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and delivered directly to you:

  • you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return.
  • Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be emailed to you.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later:

  • we will send a refund to the gift giver
  • they will find out about your return.

= Delivering returns

To return your product, you should mail your product to: {physical address}.

You will be responsible for paying for your own delivery costs for returning your item. Delivery costs are non-refundable.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.
